The Bridgewater Men’s Club is operated independently of Bridgewater Country Club under the direction of a 3-member Board of Directors consisting of club members and with its own dues structure. 

The purpose of the Men’s Club is to promote the playing of golf, friendship, good fellowship and social activities among its members.  The Men’s Club offers a great opportunity to meet and play with many fine members here at your Club.  The Men’s Club is OPEN to all male members of Bridgewater.  Men’s Club membership fee is $65.  Applications are available on the website or in the Pro Shop.

• Free entry into the weekly tournaments
• Reduced entry fees for Men’s Club sponsored events
• Free entry into the season long Match Play Events
• Eligibility to play or be a substitute player for the Thursday Night Men’s League

Weekly Tournaments

The Men’s Club conducts weekly tournaments beginning the first week in May and running continuously throughout the year for 20 weeks. The tournaments run from Tuesday through Sunday of each week with prizes (pro shop credit) awarded at the end of each week.  All events are handicapped.

Major Tournaments

In addition to the Weekly Tournaments, the Men’s Club also sponsors tournaments throughout the year such as the Opening Event, Member-Member, Fall Classic, Superintendents Nightmare, Awards Banquet, etc.  (Last year, Men’s Club members received a $50 reduced entry fee for the Member-Member and Fall Classic).

Match Play Events

Free entry into the Season Long Match Play Events including the Can Am Cup, Bridgewater Shield, and Scratch Match Play Event.  These events are lots of fun.  The events are season long round robin bracketed match play events.  Can Am Cup is match play with handicap, Scratch Match Play is no handicap, and the Bridgewater Shield is 2-man teams with handicap.

Thursday League

The Men’s Club assists the Pro Shop with running an 18-hole and 9-hole league on Thursday Nights comprised of 2-man teams.  The League this year will run from May 2nd through September and is open to Men’s Club members only.  The league is a great way to meet other members.  The cost to join the Thursday League is $135 and includes league dues, weekly draw prizes, entry into the 50/50 draw, and weekly team best ball prizes.
